Losing my father was like losing a whole history book filled with personal accounts since 1913. When I was young my dad never spoke of the war. As he grew older into his late eighties and early nineties he began to share. Oh my how tough they must have had it. His stories brought tears to all who were listening.
Men who fight for us should be honored every day.

Hope you are doing well. Although the met bureau are promising us 34 on Sunday...wow. I'll believe it when it happens.

We're promised a storm for tonight and that's more likely to happen. There's a bushfire somewhere and the smoke is awful today. I've been coughing my head off so a storm will be most welcome to put that out.

Have a lovely weekend. Wonder why they don't do it in cooler weather and perhaps when things are a little damp outside? Thank goodness you didn't pass that PSYCHOPATH TEST, I did have one lady tell me she passed, I told her I feel sorry for her husband, since she lives in England I don't have to worry about her coming after me. LOL Loved the man that found the pig along side the road joke. Actually I've heard little pot belly pigs make great pets, but I still don't think I would want one in the house. But what happens if we don't get much more rain over the next two months? There won't be much water left to keep the garden alive, let alone fight a possible bushfire.
Ken has a virus in his liver and has been home from work all this week. I'm just thankful he isn't out in that heat driving around all day.
I've potted all the pelargonium cuttings I took from MIL's house; hopefully they'll survive the summer!Gina E.https://www.blogger.com/profile/07532527261977368083noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6898025342845778058.post-36053275267740547872009-11-12T02:54:38.786+11:002009-11-12T02:54:38.786+11:00Glad to know that the flowers are still blooming. ...Glad to know that the flowers are still blooming. It does make sense in a twisted way. But it is a bit over the top.

I think I'll copy the drunk driving poem. It is too important to keep to myself. You know that was so sad, it is probably what some think that die in a wreck, they wish they could see their loved ones just once more and touch them and hold their hand. Good one, I never got the answer. Very funny post, I really liked the computer one.
