Back in Hospital

Hi Folks, its Merle's brother Peter once more the bearer of bad news... yep, she is back in hospital this time in Shepparton which makes it much easier for John and her many friends to keep in touch.
My report comes via John, Merle's oldest son and my first nephew, her back pain has finally been diagnosed as a crushed 5th vertebrae, no wonder she was in pain!!!
Hopefully now she will be given sufficient care and medication to let her rest and recuperate, she has no access to a computer at the moment but I'm sure your love and best wishes will be appreciated when she gets home again, I'll let you know any progress reports as they become available.

Dear Peter, thank you for letting us know...I love Merle for her own words and life and for sharing the great jokes. I'm so sorry she's in hospital again...a crushed 5th vertebrae...I can't remember my anatomy...is that cervical or thoracic? Please tell her that I send prayer, love and gentle hugs!

Look forward to receiving your progress reports...it so appreciated that you are able to keep her blog friends informed!

Oh my goodness, so glad they have finally found what has been causing her pain. They still haven't mine. I go this Wed. to get the results from the last set of x-rays of lower back and hips.

I'm assuming they will be doing surgery on her back?

Tell her I'll be thinking of her and remembering her in my prayers.

Thank you Peter, for this report. It is hard when our bodies fail us. I could tell from her last report that she was in an awful lot of pain. Now that she is diagnosed things should progress towards healing. I am glad too, that John can come more easily this time.

Merle, get well real soon. A bunch of us miss you. And the bunch is praying for you. I am, for your healing, for the doctors, and for your family.

Oh no! Poor Merle! Thank you Peter for letting us all know. I really envy your family - I don't know of any other family who give each other such constant support. Must be that good old Aussie country spirit.
