Warning ~ Trojan Horse Virus.

Post  790  ~~~ Sunday  8th July,  2012.

Hello my Friends ~~I hope you are all doing well, as I am.
I hope all the Americans had a great 4th July and the Canadians on the 2nd July for Canada Day.  I hope the weather is not too hot for you people in the Northern Hemisphere. It has been very cold here the last few days
but it is the middle of Winter down under. Halfway through it - thank goodness. Lots of frosts and low temps

I only went out shopping and to Physio last week and the
coming week I have no appointments, so will stay indoors with the heater going and maybe get some little jobs done. Like sewing buttons on a blouse and reading papers
My football team beat the top team on Friday night which was great after some poor performances recently.

My good friend Gina sent this so I am passing it on.
In the coming days, you should be aware.....Do not open any message with an attachment called: Invitation FACEBOOK, regardless of who sent it. It is a virus that opens an OlympIc torch that burns the whole hard disc C of your computer.
This virus will be received from someone you had in your address book. That's why you should send this message to all your contacts. It is better to receive this email 25 times than to receive the virus and open it.
If you receive an email called: Invitation FACEBOOK, though sent by a friend, do not open it and delete it immediately. It is the worst virus announced by CNN. A new virus has been discovered recently that has been classified by Microsoft as the most destructive virus ever.
It is a Trojan Horse that asks you to install an adobe flash plug-in. Once you install it, it's all over. And there is no repair yet for this kind of virus. This virus simply destroys the Zero Sector of the Hard Disc, where the vital information of their function is saved.

My good friend Kim sent me the next one. Thanks Kim.for'Don't WasteThat Lemon Peel.'

DON'T WASTE THAT LEMON PEEL.

Many professionals in restaurants and eateries are using or consuming
the entire lemon and nothing is wasted.
How can you use the whole lemon without waste?
Simple..place the lemon in the freezer section of your refrigerator.
Once the lemon is frozen, get your grater, and shred the whole lemon
(no need to peel it) and sprinkle it on top of your foods.
Sprinkle it to your whisky, wine, vegetable salad, ice cream, soup, noodles,
spaghetti sauce, rice, sushi, fish dishes. All of the foods will unexpectedly
have a wonderful taste, something that you may have never tasted before.
Most likely, you only think of lemon juice and vitamin C.  Not anymore.
Now that you've learned this lemon secret, you can use lemon even in
instant cup noodles.

What's the major advantage of using the whole lemon other than
preventing waste and adding new taste to your dishes?

Well, you see lemon peels contain as much as 5 to 10 times more
vitamins than the lemon juice itself.  And yes, that's what you've
been wasting.  But from now on, by following this simple procedure of
freezing the whole lemon, then grating it on top of your dishes, you
can consume all of those nutrients and get even healthier.
It's also good that lemon peels are health rejuvenators in eradicating
toxic elements in the body.

So place your lemon in your freezer, and then grate it on your meal
every day.  It is a key to make your foods tastier and you get to live
healthier and longer! That's the lemon secret!

Better late than NEVER!

The surprising benefits of lemon!
Lemon (Citrus) is a miraculous product to kill cancer cells. It is
10,000 times stronger than chemotherapy.
Why do we not know about that? Because there are laboratories
interested in making a synthetic version that will bring them huge
profits. You can now help a friend in need by letting
him/her know that lemon juice is beneficial in preventing the disease.
Its taste is pleasant and it does not produce the horrific effects of
chemotherapy. How many people will die while this closely guarded
secret is kept, so as not to jeopardize the beneficial
multimillionaires large corporations? As you know, the lemon tree is
known for its varieties of lemons and limes. You can eat the fruit in
different ways: you can eat the pulp, juice press,
prepare drinks, sorbets, pastries, etc... It is credited with many
virtues, but the most interesting is the effect it produces on cysts
and tumours. This plant is a proven remedy against cancers of all
types. Some say it is very useful in all variants of cancer. It is
considered also as an anti microbial spectrum against bacterial
infections and fungi, effective against internal parasites and worms,
it regulates blood pressure which is too high and an
antidepressant,combats stress and nervous disorders.

The source of this information is fascinating: it comes from one of the
largest drug manufacturers in the world, says that after more than 20
laboratory tests since 1970, the extracts revealed that: It destroys
the malignant cells in 12 cancers, including colon, breast, prostate,
lung and pancreas ...The compounds of this tree showed 10,000 times
better than the product Adriamycin, a drug normally used
chemotherapeutic in the world, slowing the growth of cancer cells. And
what is even more astonishing: this type of therapy with lemon extract
only destroys malignant cancer cells and it does not affect healthy
cells.

 The Hikers ===
One day, Joe, Bob and Dave were hiking in a wilderness area when they came upon a large, raging, violent river. They needed to get to the other side, but had no idea of how to do so.

Joe prayed to God, saying, "Please God, give me the strength to cross this river." Poof! God gave him big arms and strong legs, and he was able to swim across the river in about two hours, although he almost drowned a couple of times.

Seeing this, Dave prayed to God, saying, "Please God, give me the strength and the tools to cross this river."Poof! God gave him a rowboat and he was able to row across the river in about an hour, after almost capsizing the boat a couple of times.

Bob had seen how this worked out for the other two, so he also prayed to God saying, "Please God, give me the strength and the tools, and the intelligence, to cross this river." Poof! God turned him into a woman. She looked at the map, hiked upstream a couple of hundred yards, then walked across the bridge.

THE VALUE OF THE PENCIL Sent by my good friend, Lady Di. Thank you Dianne.

The value of a Catholic education and a pencil.
Little Susie was not the best student in Catholic school . Usually she slept through the class.
One day her teacher, a Nun, called on her while she was sleeping.  'Tell me Susie, who created the universe?'

When Susie didn't stir, little Johnny, who was her friend sitting behind her, took his pencil and jabbed her in the rear.
'God Almighty!' shouted Susie.

The Nun said, 'Very good' and continued teaching her class.  A little later the Nun asked Susie, 'Who is our Lord and Savior?'
But Susie didn't stir from her slumber. Once again, Johnny came to her rescue and stuck her in the butt.
'Jesus Christ!!!' shouted Susie.

And the Nun once again said, 'Very good,' and Susie fell back asleep..
The Nun asked her a third question...'What did Eve say to Adam after she had her twenty-third child?'
Again, Johnny came to the rescue.

This time Susie jumped up and shouted, 'If you stick that damn thing in me one more time, I'll break it in half!'

The nun fainted.

Another from my good friend Warren.  Thanks Mate.

A rich blonde buys the New Automatic BMW X6 Sport.

She drives the car perfectly well during the day, But at night the car just won't move at all.
She tries driving the car at night for a week but still no luck. She then furiously calls the BMW dealer and they send out a technician to her, the technician asks:

Ma'am, are you sure you are using the right gears??

Full of anger, the blond replies: You fool, idiot man, how could you could ask such a question, I'm not stupid!! I use D for the Day and N for the Night...

One from my good blogging friend, Jim.  Thank you Jim.
A Golfer accidentally overturned his cart.

Elizabeth, a "beautiful" real golfer who lived in a villa on the
golf course heard the noise and yelled over to him.

"Hey, are you okay, what's your name?"
"Willis," he replied.

"Willis forget your troubles. Come to my villa,
rest up and I'll help you get the cart up later."

"That's mighty nice of you," Willis answered,
"but I don't think my wife would like it."

"Aw come on," Elizabeth insisted.
She was very pretty and persuasive.
 "Well okay," Willis finally agreed,
And added, "but my wife won't like it."

After a hearty drink AND sexy driving and putting lessons, Willis thanked his host.
"I feel a lot better now, but I know my wife is going to be real upset."

"Don't be foolish!” Elizabeth said with a smile , she won’t know anything. By the way, where is she?"

"Under the cart!"

Merle, it is so strange to read about your avoiding the cold while we are trying to avoid the heat. I love the lemon hint. I have stopped buying lemons because they are so expensive and we tend to not use them before they go bad. Thanks for printing your friend's suggestion.

They're saying over here that there's some malware program that may activate tomorrow, killing thousands of computers here in the U.S. There is a site where you can go and fix this, but I went there and they don't have a fix for systems with Windows Vista, which is what I have. Frustrating.

It has been excruciatingly warm here the last week but is finally starting to cool off.

I guess that woman who spotted the bridge wasn't a blonde. Now I'm going to see if I can find that cat. By the way, Maukie the virtual cat is missing on my page. He must have gotten out. He was a smart cat too though.

Thank you Merle, for the virus info. I never update from something like that.

Your river crossing joke would have been really inside out if you had made the woman a blonde.

Thanks for posting the golfer joke. I like those second to blonde jokes.

Keep warm, cheers,
..

A hint about lemons for Grannie Annie - If I get a glut of lemons from friends who have trees, I do this to preserve them for future use:
Firstly grate the peel off them, and freeze in any plastic container that will hold all the peel. You can scoop out as much as you need any time. I've kept frozen peel for up to 12 months.
Secondly cut the lemons in half after you've grated the peel, and squeeze the juice out. I freeze that in ice cube trays, and once they are frozen, they can be put into larger containers to be used as required.

G'Day Merle, I am happy to hear you are doing well. The cat game wouldn' work for me, but maybe that is due to my skills, hehe.
Staying home near the heater sounds good to me, I wish I could<3.

It's been hotter than Hades here outside of Chicago Merle. We finally got a break the last couple of days and only hit the
80's instead of 90's and 100's. Your cooler weather sounds pretty appealing right now. Glad you are feeling okay dear friend. ~Joy xo
