When You Thought I Wasn't Looking.

Post 172 - - - - - Friday, 23rd March, 2007.

Hi Everyone ~~ I hope all is well with you, as it is with me. Peter will be
halfway home to Gympie tonight. He left here at 8 am and called to see Jan
at Yarrawonga, then headed home. I hear that Gwen was at Jan's place so
she saw him also. Hi Girls !!

I really enjoyed the visit even though it was a quick one, only three nights.
Last year he stayed a fortnight, which was great. I will be glad to hear that
he is safely home and then gets this eye operation over with. No doubt he
will be glad as well.

I have a little poem called "When you thought I wasn't looking." Anonymous.

When you thought I wasn't looking,
I saw you hang up my first painting on the refrigerator, and I wanted to paint
another.

When you thought I wasn't looking,
I saw you feed a stray cat, and I thought it was good to be kind to animals.

When you thought I wasn't looking,
I saw you make my favorite cake for me, and I knew little things are special
things.

When you thought I wasn't looking,
I heard you say a prayer, and I believed there is a God I could always talk to.

When you thought I wasn't looking,
I felt you kiss me good night, and I felt loved.

When you thought I wasn't looking,
I saw you cared, and I wanted to be everything I could be.

When you thought I wasn't looking, I looked . . . .
and I wanted to say thanks for all the things I saw when you thought
I wasn't looking !!

A few
jokes that my friend Sandy sent to me. Thank you Sandy.

At a cocktail party, one woman said to another, "Aren't you wearing your
wedding ring on the wrong finger?" "Yes, I am. I married the wrong man."

A lady inserted an ad in the classifieds: "Husband Wanted." Next day, she
received a hundred letters. They all said the same thing. "You can have mine."

When a woman steals your husband, there is no better revenge than to
let her keep him.

A woman is incomplete until she is married. Then she is finished.

A little boy asked his father, "Daddy, how much does it cost to get married?"
Father replied, "I don't know son, I'm still paying."

A young son asked, "Is it true Dad, that in some parts of Africa a man doesn't
know his wife until he marries her?"
Dad replied, "That happens in every country, son."

Then there was a woman who said, "I never knew what real happiness was
until I got married, and by then, it was too late."

If you want your spouse to listen and pay strict attention to every word you
say - - - talk in your sleep.

Just think, if it weren't for marriage, men would go through life thinking
they had no faults at all.

A Woman's Prayer:

"Dear Lord, I pray for Wisdom, to understand a man, to Love and to forgive
him, and for patience, for his moods. Because Lord, if I pray for Strength,
I'll just beat him to death."

Aging Gracefully.

May your bum stay firm and pert
May your boobies not head south,
May your lippy (lipstick) never bleed
Into thin lines around your mouth.
May you eat a ton of chocolate
But never gain a pound.
May you always look your best
Whenever Brad Pitt comes around.
May you never wear big pants
Or grow unwanted hair.
And if all else fails . . .
MAY YOU BE TOO SLOSHED TO CARE.
