Happy Birthday Raggedy.

Post 366 ~ ~ ~ Saturday, 17th November, 2007.

Hi Everyone ~ ~ This is just a very short post tonight, as I have
been busy as blazes, did a heap of cooking, pruned back a bin
full of cuttings in the garden and did some washing. I hope
you all have a great weekend and that the world is treating you
right. It is very late, but I wanted to remind you of another
birthday.

No doubt, you see by the title, that our dear Raggedy is going
to have a birthday on the 18th. I hope you have a wonderful
day my friend and some special celebrations.
Please be kind enough to pop over to wish this lady a great
birthday, because she really is the Cool One and had a lot
of illness and worry this year. So glad you are well again
dear friend. Happy Birthday !!!

A few pictures I took today, between visitors etc etc.

The first two are my sweet peas on the back fence. I have some tomato plants
growing there in front of them. Hence the tall garden stakes.

Last but not least, some of my pelargoniums and they are
getting past their best now. They have been lovely.

I will leave you with one joke tonight ~~ A Woman's Poem. You fellows
would be better off not to read it !!

He didn't like the casserole

And he didn't like my cake.

He said my biscuits were too hard . . .

Not like his mother used to make.

I didn't perk the coffee right

He didn't like the stew,

I didn't mend his socks

The way his mother used to do.

I pondered for an answer

I was looking for a clue.

So I turned around and smacked the s**t out of him ...

Like his mother used to do !!

Bye for now folks, I will catch up on replies to comments
tomorrow, and find more to post. Meanwhile, take care,
Have some fun and be kind to each other. Love and best
wishes to you all. Cheers, Merle.

Your garden colors are just lovely dear Merle!
Sounds like a picky husband in that joke (and an abusive mother) LOL

Beautiful Sweet Peas, Merle. Ours have suffered from neglect and lack of water this year. Your pelargoniums must have been spectacular judging by what's still blooming.

I hope Raggedy has a lovely birthday and a much better year to follow.

That fellow was uncouth. Men are not supposed to critize their ladies' cooking.
I'll wish Raggedy birthday bests. She has a nice Veterans Week post on today.
