Award's Night.

Post 405 ~ ~ ~ Wednesday, 6th February, 2008.

Hi Everyone ~~ I hope all is well with you, as it is with me.
I have been busy cooking again - a Microwavable Chicken
and a Turkey leg roast with lots of vegetables. So I am
late starting this tonight.

Three kind people have given me a heart, so I am posting
that here and would like to thank Janice, Gledwood and
Jeanette. Thank you so much And to all my friends, I
would like to share this with you all.

Something for you
Give this heart ♥ to
every person you care about
including me if you care.
Try to collect 12

Also I have been very honored to have been given
several awards, for which I am most grateful.

Last, but by no means least, my friend Sma gave me the
You Make the World a Better Place award. I am far from sure
that I deserve this or any of the others, but I am happy to
have been awarded these honors. Thank you dear Sma and
I have to pass this on to five others. They are the following

Pea Sue Jeanette, Jim and Nick

I would like to give all these to all my readers, but rules
are rules. After all of that, I will get on to jokes tonight.

Natural Cure.
While serving as associate pastor in a church in California
gold country, I had an elderly gentleman attend some of our
Bible studies.

When he missed one week, I called to see if he was alright.
He told me he had started to feel sick, but a friend told him
of a natural supplement that had helped him to get better
right away. When I asked what it was, he said it was available
at health food stores and was like a natural antibiotic.

I again asked what this wonder supplement was called and he
said, (meaning Echinacea) "Euthanasia, I think."

What is a Cat ?

1. Cats do what they want.

2. They rarely listen to you.

3. They're totally unpredictable.

4. When you want to play, they want to be alone.

5. When you want to be alone, they want to play.

6. They expect you to cater to their every whim.

7. They're moody.

8. They leave hair everywhere.

CONCLUSION :
They're tiny women in little fur coats.

What is a Dog ?

1. Dogs spend all day sprawled on the most comfortable piece
of furniture in the house.

2. They can hear a package of food opening half a block away,
but don't hear you when you're in the same room.

3. They can look dumb and lovable at the same time.

4. They growl when they are not happy.

5. When you want to play, they want to play.

7. They leave their toys everywhere.

8. They do disgusting things with their mouths and then
try to give you a kiss.

9. They go right for your crotch as soon as they meet you.

CONCLUSION :
They're tiny men in little fur coats.

The managing director of a large company - which he had
founded - received a short job application letter for the
position of assistant managing director from a young man
who had detailed his education at a top public school,
outlined his aristocratic background and intentions of
marrying the daughter of a duke - yet failed to give any
indications of his competency or even knowledge of
the available job.

The managing director therefore felt obliged to write
back to the young man : "Dear Sir, Thank you for
applying for the position advertised. I am unable to employ
you since we require the services of someone for managerial
rather than breeding purposes."

Why Men are Happier.

Your last name stays put.
The garage is all yours.
Wedding plans take care of themselves.
Chocolate is just another snack.
You can never fall pregnant.
Car mechanics tell you the truth.
Same work. More pay.
Wrinkles add character.
One mood all the time.
Phone conversations are over in 30 seconds.
A five-day vacation requires only one suitcase.
You can open all your own jars.
You can play with toys all your life
You can wear shorts no matter how your legs look.
You can do Christmas shopping for 25 relatives
on December 24th in 25 minutes.
No wonder men are happier.
<><>

Last night he met a woman in a bar,
He chatted to
her and soon they were kissing and cuddling. Then they
went outside and walked towards her car where their
passion increased. She took out her car key, kissed him
passionately and told him, "You can have anything you
want."
So, he took the key and her car.
<><>

I wouldn't say my boyfriend was stupid, but when
we wnt to the park last night and I said I saw a dead bird,
he asked, "Where ?" and looked up to the sky.
<><>

Greg had asked if he could marry Mr Brown's daughter.

"Would you still love her as much if she was poor ?" asked
Mr Brown, who was a self made multi-millionaire.
"Of course, sir," replied Greg with feeling.

"Then I'm not happy about you marrying her." replied
Mr. Brown, "I don't want a fool in the family."
<><>

It's quite obvious that Adam was an idiot. There he was
in Paradise, with a beautiful naked woman and what does
want to do? Kiss and cuddle? Make love?

No, he wants to eat fruit.
<><>

Well, I have to close now, as my eyes won't stay open.
I hope you are enjoying the week so far. Look after
yourselves and take great care driving.
Love and best wishes to you all. Cheers, Merle.

Merle, you deserve all those awards. If I had one to give, I would give it to you for sure.

If I met a woman in a bar I probably wouldn't walk out with her. Maybe she would give me the car and just stay there.

Thank you Merle, I missed my name. I wasn't expecting an award.
I was just shutting down (getting sleepy like you) when I saw that you had commented.
I'll pass it on next time I post also. Before doing that I will research it some but mostly will follow your lead.
Thank you again,
Cheers,
..

Dear Merle,

Congratulations on all the awards! You deserve every one of them, and more!

Funny about the natural antibiotic. And I love the one about cats and dogs. I have both cats and dogs, and it's so true! Loved Why Men are happier.

As always, I leave here with a smile on my face, dear Merle. Visiting you is always a blessing!

And thank you very much for passing on to me the Blessings Award. I will pass it on to others in a few days. Have a wonderful day.

Love,

Renie

I'm sorry Merle, I didn't explain it quite right the first comment I left, I mean to say I also got the Young At Heart award from Renie. Sometimes my mind knows what I'm thinking but the fingers don't Ha!Ha!. I sometimes find I even type in a word that I wasn't even thinking about, and when I re-read the comment I think where did that come from. Last night I was in a hurry and I probably didn't re-read the comment or I surely would have seen the mistake. Your award is the first time I have received it. Thank you.
